Conservation action tools
Our databases, research tools and management guides – particularly on species, biodiversity, ecosystems and protected areas – are global standards in their fields. The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ for example has regularly and comprehensively assessed the extinction risk of animal and plant species for over 40 years.
