Partager l’eau et ses bénéfices : les leçons de six grands barrages en Afrique de l’Ouest

Le consortium UICN/IIED qui met en œuvre le projet de la Global Water Initiative (GWI) sur les barrages depuis 2009 propose une publication qui passe en revue l’expérience vécue dans le cadre de six barrages au Burkina Faso, au Mali et au Sénégal, du point de vue du « partage des bénéfices » avec les populations locales. En effet, à ce jour, très peu de travaux d’évaluation ex-post ont été réalisés en Afrique de l’Ouest pour faire l’état des lieux après la construction de ces grandes infrastructures hydrauliques. …
