Ex-colleague new Head of UNEP Moscow Office

IUCN is pleased to announce that Mr. Vladimir Moshkalo, former Head of the Sub-regional Office for Russia for the IUCN Pan-European Programme has recently been appointed as Head of the UNEP Moscow Office. 

Vladimir worked for IUCN from 1995 until 2010 leading the development and implementation of the Sub-regional Programme for Russia. His areas of work concentrated on Forest Conservation; ECONET and Protected Areas, Rare and Endangered Species, Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development, Arctic Ecosystem, Conservation and Sustainable Use of Mountains, and Sustainable Fishery and Public Support for Conservation Initiatives.

IUCN would like to extend their congratulations to Vladimir in his new post and look forward to continued strong cooperation between the UNEP Moscow Office and IUCN.
