Các cán bộ quản lý của các khu bảo tồn biển tập huấn về du lịch bền vững
Các khu Bảo tồn biển (MPAs), nơi dành riêng cho việc bảo vệ và duy trì đa dạng sinh học, các nguồn tài nguyên thiên nhiên và có liên quan đến yếu tố văn hóa thường là những vùng có vẻ đẹp thiên nhiên tuyệt vời. Các khu vực này có thể sở hữu những nét đặc trưng địa lý, sinh học hoặc vật lý độc đáo, đa dạng sinh học cao, và có thể được phát triển bởi những vùng giàu văn hóa. MPAs hấp dẫn bởi tất cả các lý do đó nên ngày càng thu hút được nhiều khách du lịch. Tuy nhiên, MPAS phải hết sức thận trọng trong việc quy hoạch tổng hợp và có tính đề phòng cho các hoạt động về du lịch bền vững thành các chiến lược quản lý nhằm tiếp tục bảo vệ và quản lý các hệ thống vùng biển hiệu quả ở mỗi khu. Một ngành du lịch bền vững được xây dựng tốt có thể mang lại các nguồn thu cho cộng đồng và tăng cường bảo tồn cho chính các nguồn tài nguyên mà MPAs đang cố gắng bảo vệ. …
