Key dates for contributions

IMPORTANT: The final deadline for proposals for the World Conservation Forum has been extended by one month until 31 October 2007. The deadline for announcement of successful applications in the first round has been extended until 30 September 2007.

The process by which contributions to the Forum are submitted, selected and accepted is:

1 June 2007
You are able to submit your proposal(s) electronically to this website.

31 July 2007
You must submit your concept proposal(s) before this deadline if you want to be considered in the first round of offers. Details of how to submit your proposal are explained on the following pages.

30 September 2007
The proposals submitted for the first round will be reviewed against criteria. By the end of September you will be notified if your proposal has been accepted, declined or held until the second round of selection. The majority of the events will be selected in this round.

31 October 2007
Your proposal(s) must be submit before this deadline if you want to be considered in the second round.

30 November 2007
Proposals submitted for the second round will be reviewed against a set of criteria. Before the end of November, you will be notified if your proposal has been accepted or declined.
