| The IUCN
Council is making suggestions on how to
improve the Union’s governance. Members
will be receiving a proposal from the IUCN
Council on governance reforms
which
will include amendments to the Statutes
and the Rules of Procedure. The mailing
will
also contain a detailed report from the
IUCN Council providing an overview of the
governance
reform process since the Amman Congress.
We strongly encourage members to study
this carefully as this will be an item
for discussion
and adoption at the Members’ Business
Assembly at the Bangkok Congress.
