IUCN SPECIES SURVIVAL COMMISSION RED-LIST STATUS OF THE LAGOMORPHS OF THE WORLD

Below are summarized the Red-List categories for all species of lagomorph; the details for each species can be found by searching either the common or scientific name on the Red List website:

These assessments have been made with thorough consultation with specialists of each species within the Lagomorph Specialist Group, or others, as appropriate.  The status is not fixed, and a refreshed assessment will be made whenever we receive updated information on the status of any species (i.e. changes in the current geographic range of the species, changes in population size, new or relaxed threats to the species, etc.).  Please convey any updates to the Lagomorph Red List Authority:  Andrew Smith at a.smith@asu.edu.
