Reefscape

After an 8 months scoping phase in the Maldives, three broad objectives were designed to add value to and synergise with the many important and useful projects that are currently being undertaken.

The project´s duration was 1.5 years included the following objectives:

Objective One: Education Program

Organize public awareness sessions on marine conservation and coral reefs for resorts and inhabited island.

Objective Two: Coral Reef Monitoring Program

Train and empower local capacity to monitor and manage coral reefs.

Objective Three: Coral Reef Management

Assess the vulnerability and adaptation potential of different sectors and local communities dependant on coral reefs.
