Held every 4 years, the IUCN World Conservation Congress is the world’s largest and most important conservation event
The 2012 World Conservation Congress will be held from 6 to 15 September 2012 in Jeju, Republic of Korea.
The day before the Congress starts, 5 September, there will be a full WCPA Members Meeting and WCPA Drinks. The 6th September, in the morning, there will be a WCPA Steering Committee meeting, both of these events will be held in Hall A of the Jeju Conference Centre.
The Congress has two components: a Forum where IUCN members and partners discuss cutting edge ideas, thinking and practice and a Members’ Assembly which is a unique global environmental parliament of governments and NGOs.
