The GPFLR is a network of governments, organisations, communities and individuals who recognise the importance of forest landscape restoration and want to be part of a coordinated global effort to further FLR research and activities. The partners learn from each other's experiences and identify, undertake and support forest landscape restoration activities. The partnership generates increased profile and support for their activities.
To illustrate the many ways in which forest landscape restoration can benefit both people and nature, the GPFLR completed a Demonstration Portfolio, which contains information about forest landscape restoration projects around the world. The most recent meeting of the partnership was held on May 25 - 26 in Colorado Springs, USA.
