STRATEGIC OUTCOME 2: “Household incomes, including those of the poorer social clusters, increased by 50% in one-third of the areas where Livelihoods and Landscapes operates.”

RESOURCES AND MARKETS

STRATEGIC OUTCOME 3: “Arrangements that facilitate sustainable local trade in forest products for the poor available in at least three countries where Livelihoods and Landscapes operates.”

STRATEGIC OUTCOME 4: “At least one set of best practice guidelines for the investment in, and management of a forest-related commodity adopted by a major multinational corporation or other investor and promoted as a recognized industry standard or investment criteria.”

FOREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AND GOVERNANCE – FLEG

STRATEGIC OUTCOME 5: “National and sub-national tripartite activities on law enforcement and governance demonstrably reduce by one-third the estimated rates of illegal logging in at least three rural areas where Livelihoods and Landscapes operates.”

SECURING RIGHTS AND TENURE

STRATEGIC OUTCOME 6: “The area of land under some form of secure tenure (e.g. owned, leased, long-term management agreement) for local populations over forest-related resources increased by 25% in at least five of the rural areas where Livelihoods and Landscapes operates.”

TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPES: FOREST LANDSCAPE RESTORATION

STRATEGIC OUTCOME 7: “A 10% net area increase in forest-related, locally-negotiated multifunctional land-uses in at least 5 rural areas where Livelihoods and Landscapes operates.”

STRATEGIC OUTCOME 8: “Decision-makers from government (both land-use and non-traditional ministries), civil society and the private sector demonstrate commitment to adopt the concepts, recommendations, tools and approaches generated by the activities of Livelihoods and Landscapes in at least 3 countries.”
