IUCN West Asia contributes to the gender and climate change training in Bangkok
In parallel with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Meeting in Bangkok, IUCN Regional Office for West Asia participated in the Training of Trainers on Gender and Climate Change. This Asian chapter of the training is the fifth in a series of successful workshops held previously in Europe, USA, and the Caribbean and the Americas. Forty five Asian sustainable development and climate change practitioners attended this three-day-training course which was convened by the Global Gender and Climate Alliance (GGCA) during Sept. 24-26, 2009 in Bangkok. …
