Climate change is a global challenge but a lot can be done at the local level to minimize impacts and capture opportunities. IUCN's Building Coastal Resilience to Climate Change Impacts in Southeast Asia Project, funded by European Union, aims to increase adaptive capacity of people and the ecosystems on which they depend to cope with the anticipated impacts of climate change and plan for disaster risk reduction, through sound governance and planning.
