An important goal of IUCN’s Building Coastal Resilience (BCR) project is to build the capacity of local government to design, implement, and monitor community based climate change adaptation pilot project. BCR is supporting the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE), Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD), Women's Union, Commune People's Committees, and Forest Management Boards in Kien Giang, Soc Trang and Can Gio to implement 10 pilot projects.

To help our partners, better monitoring and manage these projects, in February 2014 IUCN organized a 4-day Project Cycle Management training workshop for 25 participants in Rach Gia, Kien Giang Province. To learn more about the workshop, click HERE.
