Collective Voice
Through IUCN, members become part of a collective and global voice on important issues of our age. The Union convenes the World Conservation Congress and other platforms for discussing conservation issues.

Partnerships and networks
Members are able to develop partnerships by being part of an alliance of governments and NGOs. Members also have the possibility to expand their networks through international contacts with the Union's staff, experts and other members.

Members can strengthen their credibility and capacity through their association with a respected conservation alliance of key scientists, decision-makers and managers.

•    National and international non-governmental organizations
•    Individuals can only become members of the six IUCN Commissions

How to apply? (in 3 steps)
1.    Fill the application form
2.    Gather supporting documentation to your application: letters of recommendation from 2 IUCN members, activity report for past three years, audited financial statement and Statutes of your organization.
3.    Send the application and the supporting documentation to the Constituency Development and Coordination, Asia Regional Office or to the Constituency Support Unit.
