1. Building Coastal Resilience to Climate Change Impacts – Coastal Southeast Asia (BCR)

Objective(s): Strengthen the ability of local government and local people to plan for, and adapt to future climate risks in 8 coastal provinces between Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok: Can Gio, Ben Tre, Soc Trang and Kien Giang in Vietnam; Kampot and Koh Kong in Cambodia and Trat and Chanthaburi in Thailand.

2. Mekong Water Dialogues (MWD) - Phase II

Goal and Purpose

The goal of the project is to improve livelihood security, human and ecosystem health in the Mekong Region through participatory water governance

The purpose of the project is to mainstream participation by multiple stakeholders including communities and civil society in decision making related to management of water resources in the Mekong Region

3. Magroves For the Future (MFF)

Objective(s): As part of the overall Mangroves For the Future Phase 2 Agreement (2010-2013), Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) has provided separate funding for the Asia Regional Office Asia Regional Office (ARO) to enable dedicated outreach and support in sharing the experiences of Mangroves For the Future with additional countries that have expressed a strong desire to become full members of Mangroves For the Future in future phases of the programme. Additionally, the outreach will facilitate implementation of trans boundary initiatives with existing Mangroves For the Future member countries to promote investments in shared coastal ecosystems
