Kinnarps
Kinnarps is Europe's 3rd largest office furniture manufacturer with showrooms in some 35 countries in Europe and other parts of the world and headquarters in Sweden. The eco-friendly manufacturer is a family business founded over 60 years ago in the unspoiled Scandinavian countryside, in the small village of Kinnarp in Sweden. All materials Kinnarps uses are produced with a minimum impact on nature and the wood is FSC-certified. Clients of the Swedish manufacturer include a wide range of private companies, public insitutions and international agencies. Together, Kinnarps and IUCN will promote the importance of green building to the business community. Kinnarps will provide in-kind support to the Conservation Centre through interior design expertise and sustainable furnishings.

Holcim
Holcim is one of the world’s leading suppliers of cement and aggregates (crushed stone, sand and gravel) as well as further activities such as ready-mix concrete and asphalt including services. The Group holds majority and minority interests in more than 70 countries on all continents. Holcim has contributed to the project both financially and in-kind through the development of a concrete made with recycled concrete aggregate.
MAVA
The mission of the Foundation is to contribute to maintaining terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, both qualitatively and quantitatively, with a view to preserving their biodiversity. To this end, it promotes scientific research, training and integrated management practices whose effectiveness has been proved, while securing a future for local populations in cultural, economic and ecological terms. The MAVA Foundation has contributed to this project through financial assistance. In addition, the foundation plans to relocate their own headquarters to the new Conservation Centre. IUCN looks forward to having such a long-term and valued partner located on site with us. This is consistent with the IUCN vision to create a collaborative hub of multi-stakeholder activity for nature conservation.
Loterie Romande
La Société de la Loterie de la Suisse Romande - la Loterie Romande - was founded in 1937 by the Cantons of Vaud, Fribourg, Valais, Neuchâtel and Geneva. The board of the official organ for the distribution of the profits supports the IUCN Conservation Centre project through a subvention for the Natural Garden. In line with their giving philosophy, the Natural Garden will be a public space open to the community.

The new IUCN Conservation Centre will have state of the art energy efficiency lighting solutions. Thanks to Philips’ collaboration with IUCN.
Royal Philips Electronics of The Netherlands is a diversified Health and Well-being company, focused on improving people’s lives through timely innovations. The company is a market leader in cardiac care, acute care and home healthcare and energy efficient lighting solutions and new lighting applications.
Together, Philips and IUCN are collaborating on ensuring the new IUCN Conservation Centre uses the most energy efficient lighting available. This will contribute to the building becoming LEED platinum certified as well as the local ‘Minergie’ Swiss energy efficiency certification.
Their support to this project is part of Philip’s drive to promote the importance of sustainable cities and livelihoods to the business community. Philips will provide in-kind support by donating state of the art energy efficient lighting solutions for the new Conservation Centre”.
Commune of Gland
The Council gave a 50 year leasehold title to the land on which the IUCN Conservation Center is being built.
Confederation
The Swiss Federal Assembly granted a 20 million interest free loan to IUCN for a period of 50 years.
Canton
The Vaud cantonal authorities have given the building project their support and goodwill.
