IUCN World Conservation Congress: Accreditation

IUCN Members and observers at the Members' Assembly need to submit their statement of credentials in order to be able to exercise their rights to vote and/or speak at Congress.
An online accreditation system will be launched mid-July 2012. This new system will offer Members the possibility to submit their statement of credentials, change their Head of Delegation and manage their proxy votes. We will send detailed information about accreditation and voting to all Members when we launch the system in July.
Members not attending Congress are encouraged to submit their statement of credentials in order to empower another Member to vote on their behalf (proxy votes).

What limits the scaling-up of sustainable practice in business?

The business case for sustainability is strengthening and exemplary businesses are committing to changing their ways – but why is sustainable practice the exception and not the rule? IUCN Members Rainforest Alliance, Earthwatch Institute and Fauna & Flora International, along with the IUCN Secretariat and partner Nespresso, are organizing a workshop at the IUCN Congress.
IUCN Members are invited to provide input on this important topic by participating in a short survey, which will help inform the event.
