The indispensable guidelines on Protected Areas law - now in print!
The Guidelines for Protected Areas Legislation, Environmental Policy and Law Paper No. 81, is now available in print and electronically. The publication is the result of a three-year project led by the IUCN Environmental Law Centre (ELC), in cooperation with the IUCN Global Protected Areas Programme (PAP) and with extensive contributions from the Commission on Environmental Law (CEL) and the World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA), as well as important inputs from the Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy (CEESP). …

IUCN Commission on Environmental Law reaches out to newly formalised International Renewable Energy Agency
IUCN, through representatives of the its Commission on Environmental Law (CEL), attended the final Preparatory Commission Meeting and the Inaugural Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), which took place in Abu Dhabi on 3 - 5 April 2011.
