Two new CEL Steering Committee members

Two new members: Mr. Gustavo Alanis, from Mexico, and Ms. Maguelonne Déjeant-Pons, from France, were accepted as members of the CEL Steering Committee in the 74th Council Meeting held this June in Gland.

Mr. Gustavo Alanis is President of the Mexican Environmental Law Center (CEMDA). He is also member of the Technical Advisory Board of the Office of the Environmental Attorney for Mexico City, and member of the Board of Directors of the Non Profit Organization “Mexico United Against Delinquency” (México Unido Contra la Delincuencia).

Ms. Maguelonne Déjeant-Pons is a member of the French Society for Environmental Law (Société française pour le droit de l'environnement - SFDE) and Chair of its East Section. She is also a member of the French Society for International Law (Société française pour le droit international - SFDI), European Association for Environmental Law (Association européenne de droit de l'environnement) and European Council of Environmental Law - CEDE.
