The CEESP Steering Committee met in Whakatane, New Zealand 1-12 January 2011, immediately before the Sharing Power Conference.

Representatives of all CEESP Themes and Regional Vice-Chairs were present. A major focus of the SC Meeting was the process for developing the new CEESP Mandate and Programme for presentation to the IUCN World Conservation Congress.
