Objectives
- To communicate the vital information resources that exist, which will help us better manage our planet;
- To help articulate the information needs of the conservation community (e.g. precipitation forecasts, latest climate models); and
- To draw attention to the important role conservationists and general citizens around the world can play in collecting and communicating information about our changing planet.
Short-Term Plans
- Obtain nominations for specialty group membership
- Begin to communicate opportunities to obtain improved information
- Better connect IUCN to environmental information sources
- Facilitate the communication of new findings, data sets

- Communicate the long-term environmental information needs of the conservation sector
