The IUCN Commission on Education and Communication is pleased to announce that membership surpassed 1,000 in May 2012. Our membership includes 220 young professionals 35 years and under. Most members come from Europe (260) followed by North America & Caribbean (150), South and Southeast Asia (145) and South America (120). Some 223 Commission members are working in IUCN Member organizations.

Membership provides access to a learning community with common goals. You will be invited to participate in activities, exchange ideas, contribute your opinions and apply your expertise. Members enjoy opportunities to advise on policy and strategy to support IUCN priorities. Member resources include a newsletter and website that facilitate knowledge exchanges and learning.
